Release 2025.05 data content highlights
A big release will be released shortly and will available for all users with a valid diagnostic software license.
The release includes helpful updates on cars, trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles.
It is not easy to pick some few highlights amongst the tens thousands that have been made. Volkswagen Group alone for example have 4,920 new and updated fault code descriptions. Here are some of the hand-picked data content highlights for release 2025.05:
CARS
• BMW X3 (G45) – new model added with a good coverage
• Fiat Ducato – updates for covering more engine versions
• Kia Picanto -18, Rio -17, Stonic -17 – ADAS updated with radar calibration
• Porsche Boxter 718, Cayman, 911 – new models with service light reset
TRUCKS
• Fiat Ducato – updates for covering more engine versions
• Renault Truck D-series – year model update and new side radar safety system
• Volvo Bus – general update with better overall coverage
• Volvo Truck FE/FL – new side radar safety system

Release 2025.05 - new software functions
Besides the vehicle data content, the software itself has a lot of new and helpful features and functions.
Secure Gateway
The solution to access security locked vehicle systems gets even stronger as Honda, Kia and Porsche make their entrance. Now there are 19 different vehicle brands in total in Autocom Secure Gateway. A number that continuously increases as Autocom sign contracts for Secure Gateway access with more vehicle manufacturers.
Remote Services
Many of our CARS users will find a helpful button in the top right corner of the software. The button initiates a ticket in the in Remote Services, a brand new service that offers workshops access to OE-level repair support. For now, it is only available in Sweden, Norway and the UK. More markets will gain access gradually.
Data list selection
Selecting data lists will now become even easier thanks to brand new checkboxes. It will take less time, make it smoother and more clear for the user.
